This short film was inspired by the concept of the International Date Line and modeled after the opening short films of the Annecy International Animation Festival. It tells the story of the first astronaut in human history discovering the true, astounding reason behind the formation of the date line in space. I served as the director, creating the script, designing the storyboard and characters, producing the animation, and editing the audio. This was the first complete animation project I worked on, and it became the opening film of the first Hangzhou International Animation Festival.
